She tiptoed through the woods under the light of the full moon. Suddenly, a whisper on the wind reached her ears. It was laughter. She followed it to a clearing in the woods where before her eyes fairies were dancing within a ring of mushrooms. She was careful not to make a sound as she slowly crouched down to watch the joyous dancing.
In Celtic myth, a circle of mushrooms known as a fairy ring has often been considered the result of fairies dancing. In Germany fairy rings were called Hexenringe, or “Witches Rings,” and were believed to be places where witches danced to celebrate Walpurgis Night, a festival that welcomes the beginning of spring. An Austrian legend also claims that fairy rings were the work of dragons that burned them into the ground with their fiery tails.
The Fairy Mushroom bag is created to bring you joy and merriment like that of the dancing fairies.
